The only way across is to duck under the overhanging rock. Further to the left, the water was too deep, to the point where my shorts would have gotten wet even all hiked up as they were. Bending halfway over and slogging through gravelly sand and freezing cold water? Will I do it??? (yeah I did it, spoiler alert)
